Here is a page for the missionaries who have come to our church and have presented their life's calling. As you know we as a church can't always support everyone that comes through financially, but we can support them with our prayers. Also as individuals we can also try to reach any needs that these warriors for Christ may have. I will try to keep this page updated with the latest newsletter from them with any links available.
Thank you for all your prayers and support! Please enjoy our latest prayer letter for July and August 2016. This is posted on our website,www.heltonsforspain.com. Later this week we will have a blog update. We also have a Spanish version of our prayer letter on our website if you are interested.
The link below will provide a PDF version of our prayer letter. If you have any trouble at all, please contact me personally (firstname.lastname@example.org) and I will send a separate email with the PDF attached. In addition, I will be calling each of our supporting churches this summer to ensure you are receiving our prayer letter. With our next prayer letter, we will distribute only to our supporting churches and anyone who asks to remain on our list. Our desire is to simplify our list, not to leave anyone out. If you would like to continue praying for us, but perhaps are not able to support financially, please let me know I will continue to send the prayer letter. Again, thank you for your patience as we try to improve our distribution, and thank you again for your prayers and support!
The button below will take you to our prayer letter.
Heltons Prayer Letter
Summer came and went quickly this year. We had much food from the garden and we developed a July/August ministry of sharing with friends and with many people we don’t even know. We go to dump our trash and have given dozens of John/Romans books to folks (some homeless).
Nancy has been teaching English to two sisters (12 and 10) for the summer. They all enjoy it. She will give them each a Russian/English New Testament as part of their last lesson. They can already read some English.
The fall semester is upon us and we will have a record schedule for the Bible college. For the first time, we are having a class for women only, entitled Women and Prayer, taught in two locations. Ron is teaching five courses this term - Angelology, Book of Acts, Theology 1 (God and the Bible) in Poland and then in Ukraine, and Bibliology in the capital city.
The war situation is not good. Some friends (not in our city) had to take cover because of the bombs going off near their house. We never know what will happen next, but God is with us always. Please continue praying for us and the work here. During uncertain times, many people seek the Lord.
A big thanks to all who help and pray for us as we seek to win Ukrainians for Christ and teach them the Word of God. Thanks for partnering with us. Pray for Ukraine in these trying days.

Hello Pastor and praying family!
We would like to report that:
- We are now at 31% of our support.
- In the month of August we drove a total of 7,591 miles
across the states of GA, VA, FL, SC, and NC.
- We also had 2 more churches vote to take us on for
This month was a huge blessing for us and we hope it was also a huge blessing for you all. Our God is so good to us all! We are praying to our Heavenly Father that He would get us to the field by the end of next year. We ask you to please help us by praying for more churches to take us on for support and for us to finish booking our meetings through the end of next year. We are very excited and can’t wait to get to Colombia so that lives will be changed by God’s amazing, saving power.
Thank you for supporting us with your prayers and finances. Please continue to pray for our safety as we travel and for support to continue to come in so we can leave for Colombia soon. Please email or mail us your prayer requests so that we in turn can pray for you.
Yours for souls in Colombia,
Miguel & Mariangela Sanabria
Dear Pastors and Praying Friends,
Thank you for your faithful prayers and support. On September 13th we will have been on deputation for one whole year. The Lord has been so good to us in providing for all of our needs through the 150 churches he has allowed us to worship with and share our burden for Bosnia.
I have included a flyer for the Our Generation Summit this year at Lake Lanier Islands. This is a weekend Missions Conference that our home church and mission board host. Over the years, I have been very blessed by the Summit and I am looking forward to being part of it with many veteran missionaries this year. Please consider joining us for a few days as we consider the Great Commission.
Praises from August:
The war in Bosnia left the countryside littered with more than 200,000 active land mines. The clearing of these mines is one area that has brought some unity between the three different nationalities that fought in the war. Men that were fighting against each other years ago are now working together to remove mines for very low wages. Please pray with us that the Lord would bring us there quickly so that we can share with them the unity found in Christ.
Yours for Bosnia Herzegovina,
Micah and Kathryn Rastelli
As we write this prayer letter we are excited to say that our support has increased since our last letter and now we are at 60%! Once we get to 75% is when I will purchase the tickets to fly to Romania. We are hoping and planning that this will be January. Since our last prayer letter we have been from North Dakota to Michigan, then back to Pennsylvania, and are currently in Ohio. There are three weeks in October that I am trying to get filled with meetings, but other than that I have a pretty full schedule till January. While traveling, we have been able to revisit some of our supporting churches, and it has been a blessing to see friends again.
While home in Pennsylvania, for two weeks this summer, I had the opportunity to witness to an 80 year old lady. In the conversation I was able to tell her at least three times that salvation was not in anything we do, but trusting only what JESUS DID to get us to heaven, no works of our own whatsoever. And her remark was “I aint ever heard that before, I’ll have to go home and think about that.” I was able to give her a tract and be a witness to her. Lisa had an opportunity as well. While following a lady out of a store, the lady dropped her sweater. Lisa went back for it and gave the lady a tract along with her sweater. She looked up, smiled, and said, “Thank you, I really needed this.” It was refreshing to see her positive reaction, among the many tracts we pass out folks are not always receptive. We are thankful for the opportunities and are reminded of the fact that there are many people around us, no matter where we are, that need to hear this good news. They remind us of the many religious people in Romania who are trusting what they do to get them to heaven, instead of what Jesus has done. We are eagerly awaiting the day that we move to Romania and be able to be this witness to the many lost souls there.
Our main prayer request is for increased monthly support, and to be obedient to God’s timing.
Thank you for your support and the important part you have in our ministry. God has blessed us in many ways and we are very thankful.
May we be a faithful witness for our Lord Jesus Christ wherever we are till He comes.
Praise – safety traveling, increased support, our passage fund being met, and Lisa’s hands being better.
Prayer request – for continued increase in support, and open hearts for when we witness as we travel.
